About Yvonne Lee

As a little girl growing up, I can remember the stories being told around the dinner table at family gatherings about how my dad uplifted the status of our kin by being the first of eight siblings to purchase a home. Those moments were so joyful as they inspired an elevated level of pride and hope in my loved ones who came up from humble beginnings. At the time, my sister and I did not fully understand why my dad's home purchase was such a big deal and why it was so important to our family. It wasn't until years later, when we became adults and had families of our own, that we committed to the idea of wanting better for ourselves and the dearest people in our lives. 

 

In 2006, I purchased my first home in PG County, MD, and it was very stressful to say the least. This would be my first major life investment, and I was a novice it was pretty scary. I sought advice from my most trusted advisers among friends and family, only to realize their good intentions still left me feeling insecure about the unknown potential financial nuances that I might be facing. During that process, I encountered several realtors, many of whom left me disappointed with their lack of care and knowledge. This experience inspired me to become a realtor so that I could relieve the “unknown” stress of individuals or families looking to buy or sell a home. 

 

My strong client-focused attitude helped me to achieve over 30 home sales in my first year of becoming a realtor. I was quickly sought after and worked for one of Maryland's largest new home builders, selling over 70 new homes the following year. My superiors at the time asked me what my secret was for producing such results, and I simply told them that I was passionate about helping people achieve their goals of becoming homeowners, and clients felt my genuine commitment to serve them. My dad's home purchase and how it made my family feel created a strong calling in me to bless people with that same feeling of pride and elevation. I love putting people in homes it offers families the opportunity for something better. I am the realtor known for giving my clients a BLISSful experience.
