About Shawn Derrick

To know Shawn Derrick is to trust him. Shawn epitomizes professional expertise, energy, thoughtfulness, and integrity in every detail of your real estate transaction. Shawn grew up in Northern Virginia and being the son of a Navy Captain he began to appreciate the lifestyle it offers. So much that he chose to raise his family of five with his high school sweet heart in Fredericksburg Virginia.

 

Shawn graduated from Liberty University and began his career as a high school teacher and athletic coach, served as a director of a YMCA, and then chose to utilize his sales and customer service expertise to build a successful business serving the auto industry. Being passionate about serving others and cultivating relationships, his move into real estate was a natural fit. Shawn started the first expansion team of the 12:45 Team in the southern region of Northern Virginia. Shawn is a family man with a devotion to God, his beautiful wife, and their five children: Ellie, Micah, Tate, Mercy, and Zeke. They enjoy being together at sporting events and even trekking through the woods on camping adventures.

 

Shawn is an Elder in his church and serves on the leadership team at Sovereign Grace Church of Fredericksburg. It is of utmost importance to Shawn to be dedicated to running his business in a way that pleases and brings honor to God. Shawn's background of service and strong personal values allow him to serve his clients in such a manner that exceed expectations in the often stressful and fast paced environment of real estate.
