About Shanna Geverd

Hello and welcome! I’m Shanna, a passionate and driven real estate professional based in coastal Virginia. Originally from New Jersey, my journey has led me all over the country as a military spouse until I made Virginia Beach my home — and now, this vibrant community is where I’m raising my two children and creating new chapters in both my personal and professional life.

As a seasoned paralegal with a degree in forensic psychology, I bring a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to real estate. I understand that buying or selling a home isn’t just a transaction—it’s a life-changing decision often full of emotions. Having experienced personal wins and losses, I’m deeply empathetic and committed to helping others achieve their goals, whether that’s finding a perfect home or navigating a challenging life transition.  Furthermore, as a mother, I believe in the power of family which has helped me to understand firsthand how important it is to have a stable, supportive, and safe place to call home.

I’m redefining what success means for me, and that includes being fiercely independent while never losing sight of my passion for helping others. Outside of real estate, I’m actively involved in my community, serving as a Board Member for our local little league. I also enjoy staying active (to keep up with my kids) which keep me grounded and connected to my community, while also providing me with mental health benefits.
