About Saidel Mayar

After more than 14 years working in international development, I reached a point where I wanted to focus my career on more personal, community-centered work. That shift began when my wife and I bought our home in Maryland. I found myself sharing details with my agent that only close family usually hears: where our daughter’s room should be, why the kitchen matters so deeply to us, what kind of neighborhood we imagined raising her in, and how long we hoped to stay rooted. These weren’t just preferences; they were pieces of our family story. It showed me that a real estate agent isn’t just facilitating a transaction; they’re being entrusted with someone’s story.

That realization ultimately inspired me to pivot into real estate. Throughout my career, colleagues have described me as calm, approachable, and deeply empathetic. I’ve always believed that trust is built through listening and genuine connection, and those qualities allow clients to make big decisions with confidence. Real estate became a natural place to put these strengths to meaningful use.

Today, as an agent with Keller Williams Capital Properties, I combine a service-driven mindset with the brokerage’s collaborative culture, strong training, and technology. I work with anyone navigating the real estate journey — buyers, sellers, and clients at every stage — especially those who feel overwhelmed by the size, complexity, or emotion of the process. My focus is to bring clarity, patience, and steady guidance so clients feel supported from beginning to end.

Outside of work, I’m a proud girl dad and a Montgomery County resident. Family shapes my values and how I show up for every client: with sincerity, calm, and a deep appreciation for what finding a place to call home truly means.
