About Amber Harris

Your go-to resource for all things "home", Amber partners with clients across DC, Maryland and Virginia to make their wants and needs a reality — from moving up or relocating to/from the DC area to making that first investment in real estate. Amber and At Home DC are dedicated to prioritizing both people and properties, placing the client first and at the center of every decision. Additionally, At Home DC provides comprehensive interior design services to homeowners, ranging from room refreshes to whole house decorating (skills that also are leveraged to help sellers outperform the market by optimizing properties for sale).

A DC area resident for 27 years, Amber's love of real estate and design started when she was growing up in Oklahoma. A graduate of Georgetown University, she was a communications executive in the media industry for 14 years prior to founding At Home DC. When she is not working with clients, you'll find Amber spending time in her beloved Petworth neighborhood, perusing furniture and accessory stores along 14th Street, exploring Rock Creek Park with her rescue pup, attending Hoya basketball games and volunteering with Shepherd's Table, where she most recently served on the Board as Vice Chair.
