Alex Saenger, REALTOR® | Keller Williams Capital Properties I grew up in the D.C. area, went to Walt Whitman High School, left for college, and came right back. Today I live in North Potomac, and I work out of offices in Rockville and Bethesda, Maryland, and in Washington, D.C. That’s the reason this works. I don’t know Montgomery County from a market report. I know it because I live here. I know which streets hold their value, which commutes matter, and which school boundaries quietly move a home’s price. Since 2002, I’ve guided nearly 200 families through buying, selling, and investing in homes across Montgomery County and the Washington, D.C. metro area. Before that, through my virtual tour and real estate marketing business, I helped market more than 2,000 homes for homeowners and fellow agents. That gives me an unusual advantage: I’ve seen what makes buyers stop scrolling and start scheduling showings across thousands of properties, not just my own listings. Most of my work today is in the $600,000 to $2,000,000 range, where pricing has to be precise and negotiation really matters. The difference between a good agent and an average one shows up on the settlement sheet, not on a yard sign. My background is in technology and marketing. I co-founded a technology start-up and earned degrees in applied mathematics and information management. That’s why I price homes from real comps instead of gut feel, and why every client gets a plan built around their actual life. My approach is simple, even when the transaction isn’t. I guide the decision, negotiate the outcome, and tell you the truth the whole way through. Teaching the Business, Not Just Doing It Beyond my own clients, I spend a lot of time training other agents. I lead training sessions for fellow agents, and I coach and mentor both newer and seasoned agents. Most of that work is on building repeatable systems that lead to consistent results. I believe consistency beats intensity, and systems beat talent. For my clients, that means the person handling your transaction runs on process, not improvisation. Rooted in the Community When I’m not at a listing table, you’ll probably find me in a gym. I coach competitive girls’ volleyball at both the youth club and high school level. The philosophy is the same on the court and in a negotiation: structure creates clarity, clarity creates confidence, and confidence produces results.
