Angela Sherrill officially named Team Leader of KWCP Springfield

Today we are pleased to announce the official placement of Angela Sherrill as the Team Leader for the Springfield Market Center, one of Northern Virginia’s most productive real estate offices.

With nearly 25 years of real estate experience to share, and a commitment to the KW systems and models, Angela Sherrill is excited to be in the Team Leader role with a keen eye on helping Springfield agents to build bigger businesses and to assist them to better serve their clients. Most recently she has led KWCP Springfield as the Interim Team Leader since fall 2017.

“I really enjoy assisting people to find more ways to grow through real estate. What we do is directly tied to people’s hopes and dreams,” said Sherrill. “When I started out as an agent, I quickly realized that I was really passionate about this business, especially when it came to help make homeownership a reality for my clients. To be in this role means I will get to help more agents transform others’ lives through real estate.”

Angela began her career in Northern Virginia with Weichert Realtors, then spent time at Long & Foster, finally joining Keller Williams about six years ago. She immediately immersed into the systems, education, training, and tools to build her big business. Her experience includes having lead a small team ($18-22M), giving her a well-rounded perspective to best assist agents. When the opportunity arose to help start a new Market Center in Springfield in early 2015, she was on board.

In her day-to-day role with KWCP, Angela’s key objectives will be working with agents to focus on growing their existing businesses, to increasing the number of agents in the Market Center, to take the #1 position in the Springfield market.

When she’s not leading the market center, Angela is dedicated spending time with her family, and to directing B.L.A.S.T. (Bringing Learning And Sports Together) a non-profit organization that she founded with a mission to assist young women enter and fund college through athletics. The organization provides a vehicle to education, and in many cases, offers participants the realization that a dream of a higher education is not as far away as they once thought.

Angela will say her biggest and proudest accomplishment is being the mother of 10 children, and can attest to finding the balance of family and business through the KW models and systems – which allow her to be present – and everything else is a distant second.

Welcome to new KWCP Stafford Team Leader Marriah Unruh

Today we’re excited to share the news of the installment of Marriah Unruh as the new Team Leader for one of our newest Market Centers, Keller Williams Capital Properties Stafford, VA.

An experienced, award-winning real estate professional, Marriah has more than 16 years of experience, accomplishments, entrepreneurial know-how, and business acumen that has positioned her to carry out the pivotal role of Team Leader. She is excited and eager to help other agents reach their highest levels of success, to be a part of the growth of the Market Center, to cultivate relationships and attract Stafford area realtors, and work together to grow the culture in the office and to increase the charitable outreach in the community.

“This opportunity was a no-brainer for me, because of the tremendous environment that Bo and Brandon have created for agents as compared to other brokerages. I feel very connected to the company, and it became clear very quickly that the forces that drive KWCP leadership are what empower their associates to be as successful as possible, and to give back to the community. I’m excited to be an integral part of the future of KWCP Stafford and to attract more agents that share that mindset.”

Not only a very familiar name in the KWCP family, Marriah Unruh is also highly recognized in the greater Northern Virginia real estate community as a top producing agent, a key industry advocate, a powerful and dedicated volunteer, and a Keller Williams cultural ambassador. She started her career in 2001 and quickly rose to gain her Associate Broker’s license a few years later. She achieved ASP designation in 2006, and has been recognized as a Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® (NVAR) Multi-Million Dollar Top Producer, an NVAR Lifetime Top Producer, the Unruh team has appeared in Washingtonian’s Best Real Estate Agents Top Team List, and she has been the #1 Realtor® in Aquia Harbour by sales since 2008. A champion of the Keller Williams belief system and the mission of KWCP to transform lives, careers, and communities through real estate, she fully embraced the opportunities to serve the brokerage and in the community, including: member of the NVAR Grievance Committee, (2013-2017); NVAR Cares Vice Chair (2017), and as a KW Regional Cultural Ambassador, (2016). In 2018 Marriah will Chair the NVAR Cares committee.

Most recently at KWCP Fairfax, Marriah was the Lead Associate Broker, and served for four years in the highly impactful roles of ALC member, and as Cultural Chair, most notably seeing over many RED Day events with her typical and infectious energy, enthusiasm, heartfelt dedication, and fanatical approach to making each event better than the next.

In her day-to-day role with KWCP, Marriah’s key objectives will be to oversee the relocation of the Market Center to a new home, to launch the office with great enthusiasm and a roster of top producing agents, and to positively and significantly affect the real estate market in the greater Stafford area.

A busy mother of three and a lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, Marriah is clearly passionate about real estate, and about life, and she thrives when others succeed. To wind down, she enjoys playing the guitar and Aerial Silks – maybe it’s time to have a serious discussion about that KWCP talent show!

Please join us in welcoming her to her new role by sending Marriah a note and update /add her info in your contacts: munruh@kwcapitalproperties.com, 703.855.5084. Watch for more news and updates in the coming weeks on the buildout progress of the Market Center, and an official grand opening launch date later in the spring.
