Jessica Olevsky named new Team Leader for KWCP Rockville

We’re pleased to share a big welcome to the new Team Leader of Keller Williams Capital Properties Rockville, Maryland Market Center – Jessica Olevsky – she officially starts her new role Monday, Sept. 17.

With more than 30 years of entrepreneurial know-how and real estate business acumen Jessica is well positioned for a larger, pivotal Team Leader role. Most recently Jessica has been working as an agent from KWCP Bethesda-Chevy Chase.

“After a few years of struggling with systems on a large volume team, I found the answers to my questions in MREA,” describes Jessica. “I knew the culture was right for me after Family Reunion 2017, and I signed my paperwork with Tim while still in Las Vegas! I firmly believe that our industry is only as strong as we work to make it – sharing our Culture, our Mission, and our Vision with others is how we will grow to be #1 in Montgomery County.”

In her new role, Jessica is excited to lead KWCP growth in MoCo by bringing her energy and vision to the Market Center and by working with the ALC to recruit top producers. She wants to establish KWCP Rockville as the destination for experienced agents to grow their businesses through KW tools and systems.

Born into a family of real estate professionals, Jessica began her career in commercial real estate in 1985, then launched a successful lighting and design company in Colorado before returning to the DC area in 2012. Licensed in Maryland, DC, and Virginia, she is certified in seller and buyer representation, real estate negotiation, land and farm, military relocation, home staging, property marketing and most importantly, market analytics.

Of special note, while as an Agent Entrepreneur with KWCP Bethesda Jessica was named a 2018 KW Cultural Ambassador at Mega Camp and shared that “Representing KWCP and our region was an amazing opportunity to see how agents across the world truly demonstrate our KW Culture, and our inclusiveness for every person to reach their potential through our collaborative and learning-based environment.”

Jessica balances family time with her five children (one is a Realtor®!) with an array of hobbies that include reading historical novels and biographies, wine collecting, cooking, organic gardening, and raising honey bees, as well as volunteering with GCAAR, and her synagogue, with her HOA, Hadassah, and the Interfaith Partnership for the Chesapeake. Whew!

Please join us in welcoming her to her new role by sending Jessica a note, and update or add her information to your contacts lists: jolevsky@kwcapitalproperties.com, 301.251.1221.

Marla Shea Named New Team Leader for KWCP Rockville Market Center

Today we’re excited to share the news of the installment of Marla Shea as the new Team Leader for the Keller Williams Capital Properties Rockville Market Center.

Marla has more than 25 years of sales expertise, entrepreneurial know-how, accomplishments, and business acumen that have positioned her to carry out the pivotal role of Team Leader. She is excited and eager to help other agents reach their highest levels of success, to contribute to the growth of the Rockville Market Center, to cultivate relationships and attract Rockville area Realtors®, and work together to grow the culture in the office to increase the charitable outreach in the community.

“I fell in love with KWCP the moment I walked into a Market Center. Becoming part of this award-winning leadership team is a dream come true. I am grateful to be engaged with an organization with such positive energy that is committed to community service and collaboration, and to one that grows associates both personally and professionally to their highest level of happiness and excellence.

The KW systems and models feel like home to me, and nothing makes me happier than sharing our wealth of expertise and wisdom….and then watching people FLY! I cannot wait to see where 2018 and beyond leads our KWCP family.”

New to KWCP, Marla joined the real estate community in 2016. Her early career was as a successful Television Broadcast sales Executive with ABC, NBC & FOX for 12 years. During that time she flipped 17 homes, then followed her passion and lifelong dream to do more of the same, so she co-founded T&M Design & Construction, Inc. in 2001, serving the greater Philadelphia area. In 2004, when her two children and their father were diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome and other pre-existing conditions, Marla sold her construction business and began her journey as a special needs/mental health advocate for Tourette families and families with special needs everywhere.

She Chaired the Greater Washington Tourette Society (now Mid Atlantic Tourette Society) for 6 years serving the Virginia, Maryland and DC constituent needs while continually growing the chapter base and fundraising efforts through existing members and with the development of strong community outreach programs. After ten (10) years Marla Co-Founded Tourette International Community of Support (TICS) to reach an even larger community of families needing advocacy and support. As Co-founder/Vice Chair, and Executive Director she worked to unify and inspire the Global Tourette community, to educate international lawmakers, to inform law enforcement and educators about the truths about Tourette’s, expanding to nine states in the U.S., and to over thirteen countries internationally.

In 2011 Marla was honored by being selected into the inaugural class of Williams & Mary’s Marshall-Wythe Law School for Special Needs Advocacy (ISEA) where she became a Certified Special Needs/Mental Health Advocate. She spends much of her free time advocating for families of special needs children in school systems across the U.S., ensuring they receive the best education and services possible.

In her day-to-day role with KWCP, Marla’s key objectives will be to grow the Rockville Market Center with great enthusiasm and a roster of top producing agents and to positively and significantly affect the real estate market in the greater Rockville area.

A busy mother of two beautiful daughters Devyn (23), Rheagan (18), and their Little Boy Chihuahua Man Mateo (12) Marla is a lifelong traveler, foodie, and lover of family, friends, music, and useless movie quotes. Clearly very passionate about real estate, and about life, Marla thrives when others succeed.
