Keller Williams Capital Properties Named One of the Nation’s Fastest-Growing Inner City Businesses

The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) announced that Keller Williams Capital Properties has made the 2018 Inner City 100 list of the fastest-growing inner city businesses in America, based on revenue growth. ICIC, a 25-year-old national nonprofit founded by Harvard Business School professor Michael E. Porter, promotes economic prosperity in America’s inner cities through private sector investment that leads to jobs, income and wealth creation for local residents.

The list was revealed at the 20th Annual Inner City 100 Conference and Awards in Boston October 1-2.  The full list is available on Fortune’s website. Keller Williams Capital Properties, led by CEO Bo Menkiti and COO Dontae Carroll was ranked #92 based on its growth rate from 2013 to 2017 of 68.33% and 2017 revenue of $64,811,875.

2018 marked the 5th appearance on the prestigious list for KWCP, placing our brokerage into the ICIC fastest-growing companies Hall of Fame. The Menkiti Group was also ranked for a record 5th appearance, this year at #93, which places the company into the Hall of Fame as well.

Since its inception, ICIC’s list has recognized 975 companies, which have seen average growth rates of more than 400 percent during a five-year period and have collectively created more than 126,000 meaningful jobs in America’s distressed and underserved communities and neighborhoods.  The Inner City 100 program opens doors for other budding urban entrepreneurs and stimulates inner city business development and job creation through recognition, networking and learning.

KELLER WILLIAMS CAPITAL PROPERTIES ADDS DONTAE CARROLL AS NEW CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Addition of Carroll as a senior level executive enhances the 1,000 agents strong brokerage for continued growth and expansion across greater Washington, DC metropolitan region.

Washington, DC – Keller Williams Capital Properties, a top 100 residential real estate brokerage in the U.S., and a top 15 Keller Williams Realty International franchise, announced today that Dontae Carroll will become the new Chief Operating Officer for its eight regional offices throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

“We are very fortunate to have connected with Dontae, who is known in our industry to be a highly regarded senior leader, with extensive operational insight in some of the leading brokerages across the country. Most recently Dontae Carroll was a senior executive and regional manager at Long & Foster Real Estate, where he oversaw 19 offices and realized success in managing and leading service teams. Prior to starting with Long & Foster in 2011, Carroll held similar roles for large real estate organizations such as Century 21 and RE/MAX. Carroll began his real estate career in 2000 and later became a Certified Brokerage Real Estate Manager, coming to the role at KWCP with over 18 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Prior to joining Long & Foster, Carroll worked with Century 21 in a number of positions, including regional director for brokerage services in eastern Pennsylvania and Maryland, general manager for a highly productive firm in Southern Maryland, and as Mid-Atlantic vice president of business development. He also worked at RE/MAX as a management consultant for the eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware brokerages. Carroll specializes in coaching, business planning, business development, strategic planning, and sales operations.Carroll received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Loyola University in Maryland in 1996 and is a licensed realtor in Maryland, where he’s been a lifelong resident. He and his wife have two children.
